Rafael Sousa has been one of the great promises of portuguese cycling, with an impressive start to the season. His performance at the controls of the Coluer Stake CR 7.8, equipped with Prototype World Cup wheels, showed that this bike is ready for podiums on the most demanding circuits. Rafael has stood out not only for his technical ability, but also for his resilience and determination in every race.
Recent milestones
In the International XCO – Paris Goal 2024, held in Paredes de Coura, Rafael took 1st place in the U23 category and 4th in the Elite category, demonstrating his talent under adverse weather conditions. In the second race of the new XCO Supercup in Marmeleira, Mortágua, Rafael secured an impressive victory in the U23 category and second place in the Elite category, proudly riding his Stake 7.8.
More recently, in the prestigious Vila do Conde Super Cup XCO, a UCI class 2 international race in Tougues, Rafael took third place overall and the title of best U23, finishing just 1 minute 37 seconds behind the winner. This result emphasises his talent and dedication to the world of cycling.
