Great start of the season for our new rider Rafael Sousa, who shined in the 10th XCO MTB race, held in Melgaço, which is part of the first stage of the Portugal XCO International Cup 2024 (C1).
Rafael managed to come back with his Coluer Stake CR 7.8 to the 9th position overall and 4th in SUB23, after suffering a fall in a very complicated circuit in which he faced the highest level riders.
Rafael Sousa’s great performance at the controls of the customised Coluer Stake CR 7.8 and its Prototype World Cup wheels, made it clear that this bike is ready to climb the podium on the most demanding circuits of the championship.
On the 2nd and 3rd of March, Rafael Sousa, an Coluer-sponsored athlete, shone at the 10th BTT XCO in Melgaço!
This event marks the first stage of the 2024 International XCO Portuguese Cup (C1), which also marks the start of the Minho XCO Mountain Bike Championship.
In the Men Elite – Cross-Country Olympiccategory, Rafael achieved an impressive 9th position. On a track that will host the Elite European Championships next year, Rafael faced fierce competition, demonstrating his skill and determination.
